The idea of plusser is to provide an interface to the Google+ API for retrieving profiles and posts. There is a release on CRAN and a development version on Github. For a usage example, see my blogpost introducing plusser.
In land surveying, the use of lasers to obtain precise scans of large areas is increasing rapidly. This package provides facilties for handling LiDAR point clouds in R. It is complemented with classification algorithms and an interface to OPALS. Currently there are no publicly available versions of this package.
As a public transport network modelling tool, PETER provides an interface to access data from Vienna's Wiener Linien from within R. The interface is complemented with visualization and simulation facilties. It was designed to be used together with evolutionary algorithms in a bid to research the properties of evolutionary optimization in networks. PETER can be downloaded from Github.
Picking up on the latest Zombie hypes, Revil aims at modeling and simulating the spread of a (curable) virus in a network. It was devised in order to facilitate evolutionary optimization of cure developments and to research counteraction strategies for negative sentiments in online networks. Revil can be downloaded from Github.
