Milena Kresoja

Milena Kresoja

Milena holds a position as Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Faculty of Sciences at University of Novi Sad, Serbia. An applied mathematician, she is now in the final year of her PhD at Novi Sad's chair of Numerical analysis. Besides applied mathematics, she teaches linear models and longitudinal analysis at the master level. Her research interests revolve around numerical mathematics, optimization and statistical/mathematical modeling. She’s a team member of University Center of Applied statistics in Novi Sad and also a team member of Eurostudent project in Serbia which focuses on the socio-economic background and on the living conditions of students, but it also investigates temporary international mobility.

Gerald Paulinger

Gerhard Paulinger

Gerhard studied sociology at the University of Vienna and wrote his thesis on social support as social capital. He has worked on survey projects in the area of (Higher) Education at the University of Vienna, the Institute for Advanced Studies and the Educational College (PHWien). He does questionnaire and survey design, data collection, preparation and analysis. He teaches courses in quantitative methods and currently does research on wealth distribution in Austria at the University of Vienna.

Christoph Waldhauser

As a political scientist, Christoph fought long and hard to master R. He is still not there, but eventually the beast shall be conquered. In the meantime, Christoph aims at bringing down the mysteries of social media using text mining and evolutionary computing. To feed his ever growing belly he is currently employed as researcher/R programmer at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business.
